Sagit Ohana-Livne is a partner at Gornitzky GNY and a member of the firm’s management committee.

Sagit deals with representing some of the largest clients in the economy, in complex litigation cases in various courts (and in alternative dispute resolution proceedings) in the field of corporate and securities law, including derivative and class actions against public companies and their officers, disputes between shareholders, claims of discrimination and oppression of the minority, commercial disputes, and other proceedings under the Companies Law and Securities Law.

Also, Sagit has extensive experience with ongoing guidance to public and private companies and providing advice in the areas of regulation, including antitrust and competition law, consumer law, energy, and automotive. Sagit provides legal advice to the firm’s clients in a wide variety of aspects in these areas, including group ventures, trade arrangements, contacting regulators, and ongoing advice.

Sagit took part in accompanying significant projects in the Israeli economy, including representing the leading Israeli gas companies before the Committee for the Examination of Fiscal Policy on Oil and Gas Resources in Israel (“Sheshinsky Committee”), accompanying ancillary legislative proceedings and a petition to the High Court.

In recent years, Sagit has specialized in advising companies operating in the automotive field. Represents leading car importers in the market, leasing companies, companies operating in the public transport field and the like, and accompanies them in aspects of regulation, litigation, and ongoing support.
