Sascha Wiemann is a member of the Financial Services, Investment Funds & Alternative Investments practice group at Luther’s Luxembourg office.

Sascha is specialised in investment fund matters of regulated and unregulated investment funds, with a particular focus on liquid and illiquid alternative investment funds (AIFs). He advises national and international clients on all types of investment fund aspects, from fund structuring aspects, marketing aspects, regulatory compliance (e.g. AIFMD) and ongoing operations (e.g. corporate, AML/CTF or ESG aspects).

Prior to joining Luther, Sascha worked for several years in one of the biggest national law firms and in an international law firm in Luxembourg in the investment funds and tax department.

Sascha is admitted to the German bar and to the Luxembourg bar (Avocat, liste IV du barreau de Luxembourg).

Sascha Wiemann studied law at the University of Bayreuth and completed his legal traineeship at the Higher Regional Court of Bamberg. He also obtained an LL.M. in Tax Law from Queen Mary University of London.
