Blaž has been a partner since 2012 and leads the Real Estate and Construction Law Department. He regularly advises buyers, sellers, and asset managers on all types of real estate transactions, from complex acquisitions and dispositions to the development of large-scale projects. Blaž is consistently ranked among the top lawyers in legal directories; in Chambers & Partners, he has been the only lawyer in Slovenia to be ranked in the highest tier (Band 1) for several consecutive years. He also advises banks and borrowers on financing matters, particularly in challenging cross-border projects and in connection with collateral security, as well as on the legal aspects of renewable energy project development. His expertise also encompasses corporate and financial restructurings, as well as mergers and acquisitions (M&A), where he skillfully leads and negotiates the most complex transactions.
