Career
Tatjana Papić is Professor of International Law and International Human Rights Law at Union University Belgrade Law School and currently serves as a Visiting Professor at the University of Michigan Law School and a Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Reading School of Law.
She has extensive experience in international law, human rights and international dispute resolution, combining academic expertise with substantial experience in international litigation, arbitration and expert legal work. As a Legal Adviser at the Belgrade Centre for Human Rights, she worked on Banković et al. v. Belgium et al. before the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR), a landmark case concerning the extraterritorial application of the European Convention on Human Rights.
Her academic work has been published in leading international law journals, including the American Journal of International Law, International and Comparative Law Quarterly, Cornell International Law Journal and Hague Journal on the Rule of Law.
Tatjana has served as a Counsel at MJB since 2026.
