Career

Dr. Vladimir Djerić is a partner at MJB attorneys at law in Belgrade, Serbia, specialising in dispute resolution, international arbitration, public and private international law, corporate and commercial law, as well as media law. 

He has advised and represented clients in many investment and commercial arbitrations, including under the ICSID, UNCITRAL and ICC Rules, and in proceedings before international courts and tribunals (ICJ, ECHR, ICTY). His clients include both private entities and sovereign states.

While his experience spans numerous market sectors, his most significant engagements involve energy, infrastructure, real estate and privatization disputes, with amounts in dispute reaching hundreds of millions of euros.  

Following his work as a teaching assistant in international law at the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade, Vladimir worked as an adviser to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of FR Yugoslavia/Serbia and Montenegro from 2000 to 2004, while he also acted as the State’s Co-Agent before the International Court of Justice. Owing to his governmental experience, Vladimir is particularly well-positioned to advise sovereign states as clients. 

He has practiced as an attorney at law with MJB since 2005.
