Nikola is an independent Attorney at Law in cooperation with Karanovic & Partners and head of the Intellectual Property practice. He advises clients on the development of their trademark portfolios, with special emphasis on the regional presence in the Balkans. He has extensive experience in anti-counterfeiting that comes from his collaboration with the customs, police, market inspectors and private investigators. Prevention of parallel imports is one of his favourite topics.

Nikola is also a member of ECTA's AI & Data Committee, dedicated to advancing the understanding and application of artificial intelligence and data within the field of intellectual property. He is also very actively spreading knowledge on IP and copyright through numerous workshops to young emerging artists and creative professionals from the gaming industry.
