Career
Enrico Ambrosetti combines a distinguished academic career with over thirty years of practitioner experience in criminal law. He is a Full Professor of Criminal Law at the School of Law of the University of Padua, where he holds the chairs in Criminal Law I and Comparative Criminal Law and serves as Deputy Director of the Doctoral School of Law. He is also an Adjunct Professor at the Institut für Italienisches Recht of the University of Innsbruck. Throughout his career, Enrico has advised and represented major corporate and individual clients (including company directors and members of supervisory bodies) in criminal proceedings concerning corporate criminal law, offences against the Public Administration, environmental and workplace-safety matters, and the liability of legal entities under Italy's Legislative Decree 231/2001, on which he and his team also provide advisory work. He is admitted to practise before the Italian Court of Cassation and has authored over 100 publications on criminal law and corporate criminal law.
