Senior Associate

Claudia De Cesare is a senior associate who works directly with the partners on all major contentious matters. Her practice spans both contentious and non-contentious work in civil, commercial, corporate, and insolvency law. Beyond her court-based practice, she regularly provides advisory services directly at clients’ premises, ensuring close, hands-on engagement with their day-to-day legal needs.

On the contentious side, her work has a strong focus on disputes arising in the context of insolvency, including clawback actions, directors’ liability claims, and revocation proceedings. Claudia has played an important role in several high-value and strategically important cases, such as a director's liability action valued at €860 million, clawback and revocation actions for a company with assets exceeding €1.5 billion, and clawback actions for another company that accumulated €5 billion in liabilities. In parallel, she takes the lead in advising and managing disputes for a client with an annual turnover of €300 million.

Her ability to oversee both the procedural and strategic dimensions of complex matters and to provide tailored, on-site advice makes her integral to the team’s offering.
