Aharon Shimon is a partner in ERM’s Real Estate & Leisure Department and Head of the firm’s Jerusalem office. He advises on complex real estate transactions, with particular expertise in urban renewal.

Aharon represents developers, landowners and purchasing groups in large-scale projects, including combination deals, rezoning matters and evacuation-reconstruction (Pinui-Binui) transactions. His practice also includes advising on the legal, commercial and strategic aspects of projects involving planning, financing and stakeholder-related complexities.

He is particularly experienced in guiding urban renewal projects through all stages, from initial structuring and negotiations through to implementation, and in handling disputes, regulatory challenges and other issues arising in the course of complex real estate developments.
