Senior Associate

Selin Balkır Erçin is a member of the Firm’s Employment Law team with particular expertise in labor disputes and white-collar crimes. She advises domestic and multinational companies on the full breadth of employment law-related matters, including internal disciplinary proceedings, internal investigations, termination and redundancy proceedings, human resources planning, tailor-made employment contracts, implementation of global policies, as well as collective labor law-related matters. Selin assists and represents clients in settlement and mediation negotiations with current or former executives, negotiations of collective bargaining agreements with unions and represents clients before governmental agencies and non-governmental organizations.

Selin is also experienced in all aspects of Turkish and global anti-corruption and anti-bribery regulations.

Throughout her career, Selin has represented domestic and international clients acting in various sectors, including automotive, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, banking, manufacturing, advertisement and media, in a wide range of litigation matters, including commercial disputes and administrative disputes. She has also extensive experience in the full range of debt-collection proceedings, including execution, bankruptcy and foreclosure related to various securities.

Selin Balkır Erçin joined Kolcuoğlu Demirkan Koçaklı in 2014 and became one of the Firm’s senior associates in 2019.
