Dr. Jörn Brockhuis, co‑founder and Senior Partner at LYNX, has extensive experience in real estate transactions, construction, infrastructure, and commercial leasing. His practice covers real estate law and banking law, credit law, mergers and acquisitions, arbitration, and agricultural law, with a strong focus on advising international clients. His clientele includes renowned German banks, investment companies, and medium‑sized enterprises. His long‑standing advisory work for investors demonstrates his ability to build lasting client relationships. His fluency in German, English, and Polish enables him to successfully conduct complex cross‑border negotiations. As a German Rechtsanwalt and foreign attorney admitted in Poland, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic, he offers his clients legal advice grounded in an in‑depth understanding of multiple legal systems.

Dr. Brockhuis earned his doctorate at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder), where he authored a dissertation titled “Credit Security in Poland.” He served as a visiting professor at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, lecturing on Polish real estate and construction law. He is co‑editor of a C.H. Beck handbook on the economy and law in Eastern Europe. In addition, he serves on the management board of ETL Polska S.A. and is the lead partner for ETL Global in Poland.
