Lawyer

Lars advises and negotiates a wide range of commercial contracts, with a particular emphasis on software and IT contracts such as sourcing, licensing and SaaS agreements. He is also experienced in handling IT disputes and M&A transactions with an IT component.

Before joining Brinkhof, Lars worked at Van Doorne in Amsterdam (IP/IT and healthcare & life sciences). He also gained valuable in-house experience at international IT and consulting companies while on secondment.

Lars is a member of the Netherlands Association for Information Technology and Law (NVvIR) and the Netherlands Association for Computer Lawyers (VIRA). He was admitted to the Dutch bar in 2015.

Lars graduated from VU University Amsterdam where he obtained a Master’s in Criminology, followed by a Master’s in Law (Internet, Intellectual Property and ICT) cum laude. In 2022, he completed the post-academic course in Information Law at the Grotius Academy.
