Xavier Laurent is specialized in insurance and reinsurance law and handles all a range of insurance questions. Having worked both in-house and in private practice, he has gained a wealth of experience of both contentious and non-contentious issues facing companies dealing in insurance and reinsurance as well as risk management. He started his career working in-house for 10 years within the insurance and reinsurance industry (Zurich International Group), in particular as legal and claims manager regarding Food and Life Sciences companies insured especially in property and liability areas. After that he moved to private practice, spending 3 years for a Paris law firm (Moquet Borde & Associés (today Paul Hastings) as Of Counsel in charge of the insurance department before founding Anthémis Avocats Associés in 2004 that became LCA Avocats Associés in 2009.
