After studying economics with a focus on non-​profit management and state institutions, Stefanie Präauer began her professional career by working for several years as a consultant in a renowned marketing agency. In addition to her law studies, she worked in the network of the European Forum Alpbach as a financial officer and vice president for the Club Alpbach Tirol. After completing the KWR Summer Associate Programme in 2016 and an internship at a renowned commercial law firm in New York City (USA) in 2016/17, she joined KWR as a research assistant in 2017 and worked for us as an associate from 2018. In 2020, Stefanie Präauer joined the M&A team of another renowned commercial law firm before passing her bar exam in 2021 and returning to KWR as an associate. Since spring 2025, she has been a registered lawyer and part of KWR's public procurement team.
