Christian Knauder-​Sima has been a partner at KWR since 2026 and specialises in corporate and capital markets law. He focuses on advising clients on corporate, capital markets and securities law issues, M&A and related areas of law, with a particular emphasis on aspects of financial market regulation.

Christian Knauder-​Sima has in-​depth experience in structuring and executing financing and capital market transactions (debt and equity) as well as M&A transactions, both nationally and internationally. In addition, he advises on complex corporate restructuring, issues relating to directors' duties, corporate governance and ESG, as well as takeover and stock exchange law issues.

Christian Knauder-​Sima regularly publishes and lectures on topics related to private commercial law. He is a long-​standing lecturer at the Institute for Commercial Law at the University of Vienna, as well as at the FH Campus Wien and other institutions, where his teaching and research activities focus on corporate, group and capital market law. His most recent publication is the commentary on the Austrian Payment Services Act 2018, in which Christian Knauder-​Sima, as co-​editor and co-​author, deals with fundamental civil law issues relating to payment transactions and regulatory requirements for payment institutions.
