Lawyer, Head of the Privacy Practice

Eliad is the Head of the Privacy Practice. He advises the firm’s clients on implementing and ensuring compliance with Israeli privacy laws, and provides ongoing legal counsel in developing internal compliance frameworks. His work includes drafting policies and procedures, preparing consent forms, negotiating with third parties, issuing legal opinions, and ensuring that websites and applications meet regulatory requirements and the guidelines of the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority.

Eliad also has extensive expertise in the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and assists Israeli companies in evaluating its impact on their business operations. He advises clients in negotiations with European entities, supports agreements involving cross-border data transfers, and provides legal guidance on managing personal data within the context of grants and engagements with European funding bodies – including for academic institutions.

In addition, Eliad is a member of the firm’s Maritime Law Department, where he specializes in commercial transactions and agreements in the maritime transport sector. He represents shipping companies and port-operating entities in Israel and abroad in negotiating terminal agreements, navigating complex regulatory environments, and offering ongoing commercial legal counsel.

Eliad also advises clients in the higher education sector, providing comprehensive legal support on the application of privacy regulations, information security requirements, ethical standards, and contractual aspects of international research agreements and collaborations with institutions and partners outside of Israel.
