Adv. Shimrit Golan is a Partner at S. Friedman, Abramson & Co. and co-heads of the firm's Planning and Zoning Department, with extensive experience in complex planning, zoning, and real estate matters.

Shimrit advises developers, companies, and public entities on complex planning and permitting processes, and represents clients in objections, appeals, and legal proceedings relating to zoning plans, building permits, urban renewal projects, compensation claims, and betterment levies.

She brings significant public-sector experience, having held senior positions at the Ministry of Justice, including in the State Attorney’s Office and the Legislative Counseling and Drafting Department. She also served as Chair of the Appeals Subcommittee in the National Planning and Building Council and as the Minister of Justice’s representative on the Council.
