Emil Bivolaru is Executive Partner at NNDKP. Over the course of a career spanning 25 years, Emil has represented key players in various industries before Romanian courts of justice and arbitration courts, specializing in complex tax disputes, administrative and urban planning conflicts, arbitration and commercial disputes as well as restructuring and insolvency matters. He regularly coordinates high-profile cases for clients active in industries such as oil and gas, real estate and construction, banking and finance, insurance, industrial and manufacturing or technology. Emil advises extensively on tax litigation, tax inspection and tax evasion cases and has successfully represented clients in challenging tax controversies, with hundreds of millions of euros at stake. His expertise also extends to debt recovery and distressed debt disputes, real estate disputes and cases related to the civil implications of white-collar fraud.
