Nils Holger Koefoed's principal area of work is in insolvency and restructuring.  Koefoed is a court-appointed trustee in bankruptcy and has handled many of the largest and most complex matters in Norway in recent years, including for companies operating on a global scale which have benefited from his considerable experience with cross-border insolvency issues. He regularly represents debtors and creditors complex restructuring proceedings.

Koefoed started as an associate in Ro Sommernes in 2001 and was employed as an attorney in 2006. He received his law licence in 2003. In 2009 Koefoed joined the firm as partner. He currently serves as a director of the firm’s board.

Nils Holger Koefoed is a board member of the Norwegian Legal Education Association (“JUS”) for the legal areas of Bankruptcy, Debt Negotiations and Security. He is a recognised speaker within his area of law, both domestic and abroad.

Nils Holger Koefoed graduated from the University of Oslo in 2001 with a Master of Laws. He holds a Master of International Law from the Golden Gate University in San Francisco.
