Senior Associate

Caroline Lomsdalen Bendixen is a senior associate at Ro Sommernes' insolvency and restructuring department. Through her time at Ro Sommernes, Bendixen has gained extensive experience in bankruptcy proceedings, reconstructions, and corporate restructurings, regularly advising clients facing financial difficulties. In connection with her work on insolvency and corporate restructurings, Bendixen frequently handles employment law matters related to reorganisations and business transfers, including in-depth knowledge of the wage guarantee scheme and employees' rights in the context of insolvency proceedings and business transfers.

Caroline Lomsdalen Bendixen joined Ro Sommernes as an associate in January 2020 and became a senior associate in January 2024. Previously, Bendixen worked as a trainee at several Oslo-based law firms, as well as a case handler at Gatejuristen.

Caroline Lomsdalen Bendixen holds a Master of Laws from the University of Oslo, graduating in 2019. Bendixen wrote her master's thesis in labour law entitled "Employees' right to continue in employment upon termination and dismissal". She has also taken courses at the University of Oslo in both individual and collective labour law.
