Associated Partner

Erling Lind is primarily advising clients in the shipping and oil service sectore. Focus areas are financing and transactional work, both in Norway and other, relevant markets. Mr. Lind has more than 30 years practical experience from the capital markets (including mergers & aquisitions) in Norway.

Mr. Lind joined Ro Sommernes as partner on January 1, 2018, and as an associated partner from January 2026. Mr. Lind serves as a non-executive director of a number of Norwegian and international companies. Mr. Lind has previously been employed by the Oslo based law firm Wiersholm, Bachke & Helliesen in January 1983 as a junior associate. He became a partner in the same firm in January 1987 and remained in this firm as partner until December 2017.
