Career
Erik Sandtrø works with business law in general, focusing on bankruptcy and restructuring, real estate and corporate law. He is regularly appointed as trustee by the Probate and Bankruptcy Courts in Norway.
Sandtrø started as an associate in Ro Sommernes in 1999. He was employed as a senior associate in 2002 and became partner in 2008. Sandtrø served as Managing Partner from 2012 to 2019 and resumed the role of Managing Partner in January 2023. From 2012 to 2018 Sandtrø was chairman of the firm’s board of directors.

Education
Erik Sandtrø graduated from the University of Oslo in 1998 with a Master of Laws. He studied at the Officer Candidate School for the Air Force in Stavern in 1992, and later at the University of Aix-en-Provence in France.
