Career
Rita joined the Firm as a Partner in 2026. Prior to joining the Firm, she spent more than 26 years practising at leading U.S. law firms.
Rita has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, general corporate matters and commercial transactions. For more than a decade, her practice has focused on the real estate sector, with particular emphasis on the hospitality, living, retail and office asset classes. She also has significant experience in the construction industry, having advised on numerous development and redevelopment projects.She advises primarily international clients on the structuring and negotiation of M&A transactions, real estate acquisitions and disposals, construction and services agreements, lease agreements and hospitality-related transactions. Her experience spans the entire real estate investment lifecycle, from acquisition and development through to asset management and exit.
Internationally, Rita is recognised by Thomson Reuters as a Stand-out Lawyer. She is also ranked by The Legal 500 as a Recommended Lawyer in Real Estate and Construction, having previously been recognised as a Next Generation Partner in the same practice area.

Rita is the author of articles and publications on key developments in the real estate and construction sectors, including contributions published on Lexology. Her publications cover digital transformation, technological innovation in the real estate and construction industries, proptech, document management, and the sustainable development of real estate assets.
