Melchor Álvarez de Mon joined Pérez-Llorca in 2023 and he was made Partner in January 2026.

Melchor specialises in advising domestic and international clients on corporate transactions, particularly mergers and acquisitions, as well as capital markets and corporate governance matters. Prior to joining Pérez-Llorca, he worked at the Madrid office of a leading international firm and later spent four years in its London office, where he was involved in M&A and capital markets transactions across various European jurisdictions. Throughout his career, Melchor has advised financial investors, investment funds and industrial clients on investments and divestments, acquisitions of companies and assets, strategic alliances and corporate reorganisations, with a particular focus on complex cross-border transactions across sectors including energy, infrastructure, telecommunications and financial services
