Pérez-Llorca

Sara joined Pérez-Llorca as an associate in 2024. Prior to this, she worked as an associate in the Banking and Finance department of a Tier 1 Portuguese law firm, and also gained experience in the Finance and Governance department of a recognised Portuguese firm. She has experience in banking law, capital markets and insurance matters, supported by academic training in both law and corporate finance.

Before joining Pérez-Llorca, Sara developed her career in leading Portuguese law firms, focusing on Banking and Finance, Capital Markets and Insurance. She has advised clients on regulatory matters relating to banks, credit institutions, investment firms, payment institutions, investment funds and pension fund managers, securitisation companies, and insurance and reinsurance undertakings. Her experience includes advising on corporate governance, authorisation and registration procedures before financial and insurance regulators, fit and proper assessments, credit intermediation, insurance and reinsurance distribution, risk management and compliance. She also has experience in securitisation transactions and debt issuances, having assisted in the structuring and execution of complex financing operations.
