Sébastien Coquard is a Corporate and Infrastructure partner in Pérez-Llorca’s Lisbon office. He joined the firm in 2025. He has extensive experience in M&A and infrastructure in emerging markets, particularly across Africa and Latin America, advising on complex cross‑border transactions and large‑scale project development.

Before joining Pérez-Llorca in 2025, Sébastien worked at one of the leading private conglomerates in the maritime transport, port terminals and logistics sector. During this time, he led M&A transactions across multiple regions, negotiated complex commercial contracts and advised several of the group’s boards of directors, on which he also held positions. With close to 15 years of international experience spanning Africa, Latin America and Europe, Sébastien has developed a deep understanding of the infrastructure, transportation and logistics markets. His track record includes advising on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructurings and capital markets transactions in key sectors such as transport, logistics, energy and large‑scale infrastructure projects. He has been heavily involved in structuring and negotiating strategic alliances and investment projects in emerging markets and regularly advises boards and senior management on corporate governance and strategic matters.
