Akosua has renowned expertise in Banking and Finance; Capital Markets; Corporate & Commercial law; M&A; Projects- Oil & Gas and Power.
She co-leads the Banking and Finance and Energy Practice Areas at the Firm and has worked on various high-profile transactions including advisory work on various offshore installations and oil-producing fields in the upstream petroleum sector, transactions for downstream sector players and several project and export financings.
Akosua has been acclaimed by various legal publications including the International Financial Law Review (IFLR1000) and Legal 500.

Akosua Apea Osafo holds an LLB (Hons) Business and Finance Law degree from the Brunel University, Uxbridge, England. She is a member of the Law Society of England and Wales, a member of the Ghana Bar and the International Bar Association.
Akosua started her legal career as a lawyer at Clifford Chance in March 2001, and moved in-house as in-house counsel at ING Bank N.V., London Branch until 2013. She started her legal career in Ghana in 2013.
