Career
Tolulope Adebayo earned her LL.B. in 2010 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in February 2012. She began her legal career at Kunle Ishola & Co. and subsequently held senior roles at Aboyade & Co. (Funke Aboyade, SAN), where she served as Senior Associate and Deputy Head of Chambers, and AEC Legal, where she led the Insolvency and Corporate Commercial team.
She is currently a Partner and Business Manager at Foundation Chambers, where she leads the Arbitration, Corporate Commercial, Energy and Trust practice group, advising clients on complex commercial disputes, arbitration proceedings, and corporate transactions. She has experience in arbitration proceedings in multiple capacities, including serving as tribunal secretary and representing clients before domestic and international arbitral tribunals.
Tolulope is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and the Section on Legal Practice of the NBA, where she serves as Secretary of the Arbitration Committee. She is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK), the ICC Nigeria Arbitration Committee, the Business Recovery and Insolvency Practitioners Association of Nigeria, the International Bar Association, and the Young Members Group of the CIArb Nigeria Branch.
She is an approved professional mentor with the WISCAR–NBA mentorship programme and has contributed to thought leadership through publications in the Legal Industry Review.
In addition to her legal practice, she is a co-founder of MavericksAI, a legal technology initiative focused on exploring the use of artificial intelligence to enhance efficiency and innovation in legal service delivery.
