Career
Katarzyna Judkowiak graduated from the Faculty of Economics at European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder), where she studied international business economics (Internationale Betriebswirtschaftslehre). During her studies, she won the DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst) scholarship, as part of which she studied at the University of Montevideo (Uruguay). She joined Rödl in 2005. In 2007, she became a licensed tax adviser. In 2010, she was appointed as Associate Partner and as Partner in 2020. She heads the tax consulting department in Rödl's office in Warsaw.
Katarzyna specialises in advising Polish and foreign clients on VAT and CIT issues. Katarzyna implements projects concerning international tax law; this includes tax planning strategies involving investment activities in various jurisdictions. She participates in tax reviews, tax due diligence audits, and the tax side of M&A projects. She represents clients before tax authorities, administrative courts and the Court of Justice of the European Union. She has wide experience in tax compliance issues.
