With over 40 years of experience in intellectual property, Guylène Kiesel Le Cosquer advises companies, institutions, and legal departments on the strategy, protection, and valorization of IP assets, both in advisory and litigation matters, for major economic players as well as innovative organizations. She began her career as an IP lawyer in the electronics industry and joined Plasseraud IP in 1990, where she led the Legal Department for more than 30 years before joining the Board. She regularly speaks at conferences in France and internationally and is a member of leading international IP organizations (INTA, ECTA, APRAM, AIPPI..). She has also devoted a significant part of her career to training and mentoring future IP professionals and served on the Disciplinary Board of her profession for 15 years. Elected President of the CNCPI three times, the only lawyer to hold this position to date, she contributed to the reform of IP in France (Loi Pacte) and to the establishment of the Unitary Patent and the Unified Patent Court. She currently serves as Advisor to the President of the CNCPI for International Relations. In 2025, she was elected to the UNAPL National Board as ACPI Representative (2025–2028).
