Wills, Probate, Tax and Trusts

Jane is the Head of the Wills, Probate, Tax and Trust department and a Partner in the firm. She  has many years’ worth of experience specialising in estate planning, including the drafting of Wills and Trusts, advising on inheritance, tax issues and dealing with probate matters and administering estates.

Jane re-joined Forbes in 2019 to develop and expand the Wills department, to continue and build on high quality service with exceptional client care from a dedicated and experienced team.  She manages, supports and leads the team, working closely with private and commercial departments in the firm to ensure clients receive the expertise required to assist with complex family matters and business arrangements, providing a one stop service for all clients. Jane is involved in firm wide marketing, building relationships with referrers and organisations to provide legal services to their employees.

Jane is also a member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP), the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT) and the Association of Lifetime Lawyers.
