Commercial Litigation

Stephen is head of the Commercial Litigation team within the Business Dispute Resolution department at Forbes. He specialises in commercial litigation, business dispute resolution and commercial property/landlord & tenant litigation. He represents a broad range of business, professional and public sector clients including: companies, partnerships, insurers, property investors and developers, chartered accountants, insolvency practitioners, football clubs, local authorities, housing associations, pension trustees, schools and charities. Stephen is part of the firm's dedicated education group, SIPP and SSAS pension group and the construction group. He works closely with a network of specialist barristers, accountants and surveyors both in the region, and nationally. Stephen regularly handles cases in the High Court, County Court and the Land Tribunal. He is also experienced in alternative dispute resolution; including joint settlement meetings and mediation. He prides himself on being able to act decisively for the client when the situation demands, but equally being able to quickly identify the client's commercial objectives as well.
