Stephen advises on the full lifecycle of a case – initial concern and guided crisis response, investigation management, interview and submissions as to enforcement decisions, notice appeals, trial, and, where necessary, sentencing, mitigation and appeal.

Stephen’s true cross-sector experience representing encompasses construction, retail, leisure, marine, manufacturing, healthcare, logistics and professional services is built on the belief that longstanding client relationships allow a fuller understanding of the wider commercial and practical realities are essential to effective and strategic defence.

A significant proportion of Stephen’s work has involved defending multinationals and major high street names against safety investigations, but he has also advised and defended clients facing investigation by an array of regulators.

Stephen has trained and lectured widely to insurers, directors, NHS Trusts, professional groups, through interactive sessions, quizzes, game shows and mock trials.
