Samuel is a Chartered CILEX Family Litigator and brings more than 18 years of dedicated experience in family law. Throughout his career, he has worked in a variety of roles within the sector, developing a comprehensive understanding of the legal and practical challenges faced by families involved in complex proceedings. He now practises exclusively in public law children matters, with a particular focus on care proceedings.

Samuel has significant expertise in representing parents and family members at all stages of the public law process, including during pre-proceedings and throughout care proceedings issued by local authorities. He is highly knowledgeable across a wide range of sensitive and often urgent issues, including cases involving allegations of non-accidental injury, applications relating to Deprivation of Liberty, and matters concerning Special Guardianship Orders.

His experience enables him to provide clear, thorough, and pragmatic advice, ensuring that clients understand both the legal framework and the potential outcomes of their case.
