Nicola is a Partner specialising in handling claims for occupational and industrial diseases.  She has significant experience in handling claims for asbestos related conditions, respiratory conditions, Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome and Noise Induced Hearing Loss for Local Authorities, insurers and corporate clients.

Nicola joined Forbes as a partner in 2021 from Clyde and Co and now heads up the disease team from the Manchester office.

She regularly handles high value mesothelioma claims which she deals with in a sensitive and timely manner having fostered excellent relationships with those representing the claimants over nearly 20 years of practice in this area and has been praised by clients for her practical and commercial advice. Her clients are the Live and Legacy Insurance markets as well as public authorities.

Nicola regularly provided external training to clients nationally in relation to all aspects of occupational diseases.
