Richard Buckley is a Partner in the Family & Matrimonial team, specialising in divorce, financial matters, nuptial agreements, cohabitation disputes, and children matters. He also acts as a mediator and collaborative lawyer, supporting clients to resolve disputes without court where possible, while providing expert advocacy when proceedings are necessary.

Richard joined Flint Bishop in September 2025, having previously established a strong reputation as a family lawyer. He is a trained Hybrid Mediator and Early Neutral Evaluator, offering both in-person and online mediation to help clients navigate family disputes with clarity and confidence. He regularly provides training and early neutral evaluation to support constructive dispute resolution. Richard has been shortlisted for Lawyer of the Year 2025 at the Yorkshire Legal Awards, reflecting his expertise and commitment to client care.
