Position

Jon Jefferies is a Partner in Flint Bishop’s Dispute Resolution team. He advises clients on complex commercial litigation, employment, and insolvency matters, representing corporate entities, manufacturers, landowners, and other high-value commercial clients.

Jon provides strategic guidance on director and shareholder disputes, SPA disputes, partnership and LLP disputes, and a wide range of property-related matters, including boundary, rights of way, easement, rights of light, and mineral ownership disputes.

Career

Jon joined Flint Bishop in November 2023, following his tenure as Managing Partner and Commercial Litigation Practice Head at the Derby office of Freeths.

Over a career spanning more than 30 years, Jon has advised on high-profile, complex disputes, including:

Multi-million-pound shareholder dispute across a group of private companies, successfully resolved after 18 months of proceedings.

Acting for Ibstock Brick Limited in the Court of Appeal on a landmark case establishing mineral rights.

Advising a major manufacturer on a contractual dispute arising in Yemen.

Jon is recognised for delivering practical, commercially focused solutions in highly complex litigation and cross-border matters.
