Ana Luís de Sousa joined VdA in 2001. Infrastructure, Energy & Natural Resources Group Executive Partner and Head of Practice Partner of Energy & Natural Resources. Ana is widely recognised as an expert in the development and financing of cross-sector projects.

Over the past 20 years, Ana has been involved in several road infrastructures, PPP in the health sector, water and waste concessions, as well as energy (including renewable energies) projects, in Portugal as in all of VdA Legal Partners’ jurisdictions, acting either as legal adviser to the administrative authorities, sponsors and financial institutions (in particular, investment banking and EIB).

Lately, Ana Luís de Sousa focuses particularly in the energy sector and its economic regulation.
