Enide focuses primarily on fraud and corruption cases, economic criminal law matters such as working conditions and environmental criminal cases, and criminal cases in the medical sector. She acts for both corporations and individual clients.

Current matters include cases involving fatal workplace accidents and cross-border corruption allegations. Over the years, she has also handled a number of matters in which journalistic source protection and other journalistic rights were central. In 2026, she successfully obtained a discontinuation of the prosecution in a criminal defamation case against a journalist.

Enide's approach is proactive: wherever possible, she seeks to avoid prosecution and the public exposure that comes with it. She is a sharp and thoughtful negotiator in settlement discussions. Recent examples include out-of-court settlements she negotiated in a food safety enforcement case, environmental and cross-border corruption cases in 2025 and 2026. When cases go to trial, she prepares her clients thoroughly and builds the strongest possible defence.

She has extensive experience providing legal assistance during and after dawn raids, with a particular focus on protecting legally privileged data, including medical records and correspondence with legal counsel.

Enide has conducted a number of internal investigations, bringing her criminal law expertise to bear on matters requiring an experienced perspective.

She is regularly engaged by foreign lawyers to advise on Dutch criminal law aspects of international matters. She is a member of the International Bar Association and served as Co-Chair of its Criminal Law Committee. She is a frequent speaker at IBA conferences and she publishes in English on anti-bribery and corruption; her earlier publications include work on professional legal privilege. In 2011, she was one of the initiators of the Dutch legal journal Sanctions Law and Companies, serving as (Chief) Editor until 2020.
