I joined Fieldfisher in October 2024. I specialise in the Court of Protection and Mental Capacity Law, particularly financial deputyship work and assisting vulnerable clients to manage their affairs.

My experience includes:

1. The management of complex deputyships, including several cases valued between £30-£50 million.
2. Making applications to the Court of Protection for the appointment of professional Deputies.
3. Advising on and preparing statutory will applications.
4. Managing the purchase and adaptations of properties for severely disabled protected parties.
5. Providing witness evidence to be used at trial in medical negligence proceedings.
6. Acting for lay clients in respect of matters concerning the Court of Protection including making applications for the appointment of a lay deputy, statutory wills and gratuitous care payments.
7. Advising lay Deputies in respect of their ongoing duties and obligations.
