Sahil is a senior corporate lawyer with over fifteen years of experience. He specializes in cross-border investments, corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, due diligence, and regulatory matters, and is highly active on the transactional front. General corporate and commercial advisory also forms a significant part of his practice, including providing legal advice and opinions on complex aspects of company law, corporate governance, antitrust regulations, free zone rules, and employment legislation.

Sahil advises a broad range of clients, including multinational corporations, investment companies, sovereign wealth funds, free zone operators, and start-ups. Based on client feedback, he was recognized as a “Recommended Lawyer” for Oman in the “Commercial, Corporate and M&A” category by Legal500 EMEA for two consecutive years (2020 and 2021).

He has spoken at various conferences on topics such as non-compete provisions in employment contracts, anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws, anti-money laundering regulations, and corporate governance developments. Sahil has also authored and co-authored several publications on issues including the protection of confidential information and trade secrets, laws combating money laundering and terrorism financing, and the implications of the United States–Oman Free Trade Agreement.

Before joining BSA LAW, Sahil led the corporate group at a prominent law firm in Oman for eight years. Prior to that, he worked at a leading law firm in Delhi, where he served as Managing Counsel for the corporate team.

Sahil graduated with honors in law from Amity Law School, New Delhi in 2005. He is presently enrolled as an advocate with the Delhi Bar Council and licensed to practice across all courts in India.
