Ema heads DTB's corporate law team and regulated industries law team. Her engagements often require extensive research into technology law.

As a corporate lawyer well-versed in a broad range of legal issues relevant to commercial and company law, Ema advises some of DTB’s largest corporate clients. Her thorough understanding of the legal framework and internal corporate processes enables her to effectively advise clients with respect to their daily needs. In addition, Ema is actively involved in complex transactions and project tasks. In the early stages of her career, her knowledge of the EU law compelled her to engage in advising clients operating in a variety of regulated industries.

She has also confirmed her expert status with a PhD in Commercial Law, joining <1% of practicing lawyers in Croatia holding a PhD. Her doctoral thesis, titled "The Provision of Legal Assistance as a Contractual Relationship Between Attorney and Client" succeeded in being the first major scientific contribution in that area. She has great expertise in public procurement law. Ema often advises local and foreign corporate clients on all segments of the public procurement process. She actively participates in shaping applicable policies and formulating regulations by engaging in the work of the Public Procurement Committee at the American Chamber of Commerce in Croatia, where she currently serves as chair, after having served two terms as vice-chair.
