Team Services

Legal disputes
We help our clients manage risks and solve business problems, avoiding proceedings unless necessary. When litigation is unavoidable, we assist in weighing client’s business objectives against legal, commercial, mental, and reputational risk to determine the best path to go forward – where settlement might be the one.

Our team has extensive experience in handling large and complex matters across a wide range of practice areas. These include matters relating to:

  • indemnification: commercial, supply, service and cooperation agreements
  • competition and administrative law
  • financing
  • insurance law
  • insolvency
  • construction and real estate
  • environment and energy
  • maritime and transport
  • corporate law
  • M&A and joint ventures
  • information technology, IPRs and marketing.

Litigation and arbitration
We handle a wide range of both domestic and international commercial disputes and liability matters in different courts and in arbitration. We have been involved and played a leading role in some of the largest, most document-intensive, and complex court proceedings in Finland.
Administrative proceedings
We are experienced in representing our clients in administrative courts in environmental, real estate, public procurement, competition, marketing, and IPR matters.
Investigations
We represent companies, officers and directors in criminal investigations and prosecutions. We also advise on self-reporting, corporate governance and internal controls issues, for example under competition law, GDPR, corruption and environmental law.
Mediation
We are trained to act as mediators to settle disputes out of court. In our experience, mediation is a good tool for resolving commercial disputes. Instead of a judge, you are the one to decide the best available solution you are prepared and willing to accept, taking also into account the possible need to cooperate with the other party in the future.
