Paul Van den Bulck is a Partner and attorney-at-law at AKD's Brussels office. He advises clients on information technology (IT), data protection, intellectual property (IP), and media & entertainment matters. He provides comprehensive support on all transactional aspects of IT and IP projects, and assists clients in resolving disputes and managing legal proceedings. Clients rely on him for both day‑to‑day guidance and high‑level strategic advice. In addition to his advisory work, Paul frequently acts as a mediator and arbitrator in IT‑ and IP‑related litigation disputes before leading institutions with which he is accredited, including the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the Patent Mediation and Arbitration Centre of the Unified Patent Court (PMAC), CEPANI, Czech Arbitration Court (for “.eu” domain name disputes), the Centre de Médiation et d’Arbitrage de Paris (CMAP), and the Belgian Federal Mediation Commission (CFM).

Combining in‑depth legal expertise with a business‑oriented approach, Paul acts as a trusted advisor to organisations seeking to align legal strategy with commercial objectives. He leads negotiations and drafts and structures high‑value contracts and technology agreements, helping clients secure favourable outcomes and mitigate risk.
