Hannelore Matthys is a partner in the transactions (corporate M&A) team. She focuses on corporate law with an emphasis on cross-border acquisitions and restructuring work. Her experience spans a wide range of sectors, including agriculture, renewable energy, life sciences and insurance.

Her experience includes acting for Sopra Steria Group on its recommended all-cash public offer for Ordina, acting for Elicio in relation to several successful projects, including floating offshore wind farm tenders ScotWind Leasing (Scotland) and A05 (France).

Hannelore was appointed partner in Van Bael & Bellis in 2026.

Hannelore speaks Dutch, English and French.
