Partner

Wouter is the Managing Partner of the Brussels office of Stibbe. He advises financial institutions, corporate, and public sector clients on a broad range of domestic and cross-border financial transactions. Wouter has particular expertise in syndicated lending, acquisition finance, direct lending, property finance, project finance, and leveraged/management buyouts. He works closely with Stibbe's corporate and real estate partners.

• Master of Laws (LL.M.) from King’s College London, United Kingdom (2002)
• Admitted to the Brussels Bar in 2002
• With the Brussels office of Stibbe since 2002 (Partner since 2011)
• Postgraduate studies in corporate taxation at the Fiscale Hogeschool (2003)
• Seconded to the acquisition finance department of the London office of a global law firm (January 2006–April 2006)
