Jan Bogaert specialises in strategic and industrial M&A, with a special emphasis on cross-border transactions. He advises strategic and institutional investors in a wide range of sectors, including the infrastructure, energy and tech industry. Jan has extensive experience in advising clients in Europe, Asia and the US on complex cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, add-on acquisitions and disposals. He also advises on equity investments, corporate restructurings and general corporate and corporate governance matters. Jan provides tailor-made and commercially pragmatic advice to clients and is recognised for his strong technical expertise by the leading international legal directories.Jan spent five years in Stibbe’s Hong Kong office, which added a wealth of international experience to his transactional expertise. Benefiting from his particular knowledge in Asia outbound cross-border transactions into Europe, he now leads Stibbe’s China desk.
