Thomas J. Fjell has more than 25 years of legal and operational experience, with particular expertise in corporate restructuring, special situations, financing and transactions. He focuses particularly on pre-insolvency mandates and complex financial restructurings, advising shareholders, boards, creditors and investors in financially distressed and strategically challenging situations.

His practice covers financial and operational restructurings, distressed refinancings, debt-for-equity transactions, distressed M&A and creditor negotiations. He also advises on acquisitions, mergers, demergers, capital markets transactions and Norwegian and international financing matters.

In addition to his many years in private practice, Thomas has held several senior management positions and has led major restructuring processes from within businesses. This experience gives him a strong commercial perspective and an ability to navigate the legal, financial and operational aspects of complex restructurings.
