Position
Petra Spring co-heads the Employment Practice Group in Zurich. Her core fields of practice are employment law, global mobility, and immigration law. Petra Spring offers expert guidance and provides strategic advice to domestic and international clients, including listed companies on all HR related matters in complex M&A transaction, covering national and international TUPE transfers, collective redundancies, social plan negotiations, pre- and post-restructuring processes, and due diligence reviews. Additionally, she regularly assists clients across a variety of industries with the set-up of cross-border employments and in relation to global mobility, staff leasing, and Swiss immigration matters and represents parties in employment related litigation proceedings before all Swiss courts.
Experience:
- Advises and assists domestic and foreign clients, including listed companies in all employment law matters along the HR lifecycle (draft and review of employment agreements, internal regulations and policies, executive compensation and employee incentive plans, restrictive covenants, references, individual dismissals, and termination agreements) and represents parties in employment law related disputes and proceedings before Swiss courts.
- Strategically advices domestic and foreign clients including listed companies in all employment law matters relating to complex national and global M&A transaction and restructuring proceedings such as TUPE transfers, collective redundancies, social plan negotiations, pre- and post-restructuring processes (i.e. benefit harmonization) and due diligence reviews.
- Advises domestic and foreign clients in cross-border employment, global mobility, staff leasing and Swiss immigration matters, ensuring all necessary contractual documents and permit applications are meticulously prepared and submitted to the Swiss authorities.
