Senior Associate

Kristian is part of Schjødt's Finance department and specialises in banking & finance, and restructuring. He is working with various financing transactions within the bank and bond markets as well as restructuring and insolvency proceedings. Kristian joined Schjødt full time in 2023 after being a legal intern in the firm. Prior to the accession, he was also assigned the Schjødt scholarship for his master thesis on financial law.

During his studies, Kristian worked as an accountant and had several internships at different law firms, where he mainly worked with various aspects of financial law and capital markets. He holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Bergen, where he specialised in corporate law, tax law and financial law. In addition, Kristian is an external examiner on compulsory assignments for the law program at Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences.
